Cleaning Before Moving - Sell a Home - Coach Realtors

After listing your house with our REALTORS®, you've found a buyer and are closing soon. You're finally ready to finish up with your old home as you prepare to move on. The selling process involves a lot of emotions, and it can be stressful wondering how to clean the house one final time after selling. While the temptation to skip out on the remaining cleaning chores can be strong, cleaning after selling your home is important. Here are some tips on what to clean.

  1. The Kitchen
This is the most-used area of your house and among the toughest to clean. Clean out the cupboards, cabinets, and other storage areas. Clear out your personal items and clean every inch, including any grease or stains on surfaces.

You've decided to buy your dream home. The real estate market is exciting with numerous options to choose from and marks the beginning of realizing your dream. However, navigating through the market and finding a home you wish to purchase can be difficult. Sometimes, the buying process takes longer than expected. Our REALTORS® have put together these five tips to help you remain positive during the buying process.

  1. Decide Your Wants, Needs, and Deal Breakers
Before reviewing the hundreds of homes on sale, start by developing a checklist. What do you want or need from a perfect home for you? Space Day on Long Island - Coach Realtors

May 6th is National Space Day. What better way to celebrate than by checking out the tremendous innovations in space exploration we've made over the years? Or by experiencing the beauty of space for yourself? There are great options to do both right in your new neighborhood. If you're looking at Nassau County homes for sale, you can pay a visit to the Cradle of Aviation Museum. Or if you're looking at Suffolk County homes for sale, you'll want to see the Vanderbilt Planetarium.

  • Cradle of Aviation Museum - Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, Garden City, NY 11530
Near these Garden City homes for sale, the Cradle of Aviation Museum is all about flight, from kites and hot air balloons all the way to the rockets that have taken us into space. Among the exhibits is a replica of the first liquid-fuel rocket ever built, the Goddard A-Series, in the 1920s.

Garage Organization - Homeowners - Coach Realtors

Spring is here, and that means it's time to break out the dust mops, clear away the cobwebs, and most importantly, get your garage organized. Of all the spring cleaning chores you will tackle, our REALTORS® know that cleaning the garage is one of the most challenging because it's typically the least organized space. Fortunately, with a little planning and a touch of elbow grease, you can use the following tips to finally get it organized!

  1. Make a Plan, Stan
Start by determining where you want to put everything. Bicycles, gardening gear, sports equipment, tools, etc. should be well organized by category and zone. You will want to determine how much of each category you need space for, and determine the best way to maximize the use of your garage space by dedicating sufficient space for each required zone.
